Establishment of Background and Necessity

The company-affiliated research institute has been established in order to promote plate making industry by developing design which relates to printing roll production and image processing.

Purpose and Advantage

By having a design center in Seoul, we can promptly and correctly cope with requests of customers located in Seoul area. Also, the operation becomes more effective in terms of communication and problem solving. Simultaneous recognition of new design trend is another advantage.

Main Task

Design of offset and gravure, total and partial modification of new drawing board and copy board, simulation, compensation of original color, calibration, OPP printing-out, etc.

WORKFLOW

Power Warp is a strong utility which enables for user to technically modify Line-art, TEXT and Contones. With the uility, shrinkage work is available.

When we have a bottle with same shape, designer can varify 3D view of the object via own data, and make magnification (with certain ratio) for area where the highest level of shrinkage is made.

This is a process to make bottle looks natural (without distorted look) when shinkage is made on a bottle after completing printing and fabrication work. Our company provides a service that enables customer to prejudge the result of process and printing prior to real production with copper plate by conducting actual printing work on Pet Film for Shrinkage.
